Fountain in Historic Village

Flüeli Ranft is a historical and important village for Switzerland, as the patron saint of the country comes from this place. In 2017, the swiss celebrated the 600. anniversary of Saint Brother Klaus and our company had the privilege to deliver a wonderful fountain into the internationally known pilgrimage.

In matter of the anniversary, a new fountain was placed. It was used to be a wood well, but it has to be replaced again and again cause of age-related damages. The gremium decided now to place a antique granite fountain from Valais (Southern Switzerland, Matterhorn Region). According to Saint Brother Klaus, it should express simplicity. The beautiful fountain is pretty narrow and has an impressive length of 120 inches. This again is reminiscent of the National Patron Saint, which lived more than 20 years without solid food. The simple spouter, brunished in brass, is based on the water incoming of a fountain on a meadow.
